Isn't it enough to excel at one thing? Art Groupie 2008 is an exhibition featuring thirty musicians, producers, DJs and vocalists who also work as visual artsists. With the quality of work on show we wonder how much longer it will be before the call of the gallery drowns out the sound of the crowd. Groovescooter Records’ da dAdA imprint presents the return of Art Groupie. After a great response in 2006, they’ve doubled the number of artists and widened the scope from paintings and photography to include collage, mixed-media pieces and sculpture.
